Driving on the left side was a bit challenging at first, but Jax has done it before so he got a handle of it pretty quick. Considering the time of the day, we got lucky and didn’t  have to battle any major traffic.

Overall driving through Kuala Lumpur wasn’t very difficult. You do, however, need to be careful, pay extra attention and always expect the unexpected!
Once we got on the expressway, with fewer cars around the drive became even easier. The roads are in a great condition, the signage for exits and destination routes is clear. The ride was fast and breezy.
One of the things to remember if you are renting a car in Malaysia, is that most expressways are toll roads, so be prepared for some additional stops and to pay a little extra. While navigating the highways most of the time is easy, we still managed to take a few wrong exits, even with the help of Google maps.

S1E25: In this episode we’re visiting KLCC Park to see the beautiful Lake Symphony water fountain show.
It is absolutely breathtaking and in combination with colorful lights, stunningly lit up Petronas Twin Towers and Malay music makes for a very memorable experience that will last for a lifetime!

It’s Monday, April 6th 2020. While doing our weekly grocery run we decided to drive around Toronto and film empty streets during Coronavirus pandemic.
We were surprised to see many people being out, strolling, riding bikes, walking the dogs and pushing strollers. Some parts of the city felt pretty lively and even though not as packed with cars and people as usual, but still quite bustling.
We had nowhere to rush, so we leisurely drove around some of the popular sightseeing spots and usually busy streets. We kept driving for about an hour without leaving the car to respect social distancing rule.

S1E24 – In this episode we are visiting Kuala Lumpur’s Chinatown, walking around Jalan Petaling Street Market and Pasar Ceni Central Market.

S1E23 – Our first day in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
In this episode we started our day bright and early and had delicious breakfast at Levain Cafe. After breakfast we ventured out to explore the area. We stumbled upon a huge shopping district located only 10 minutes away from our Container Hotel.
To be honest we have never seen so many luxury shopping malls located on one intersection. Later that day we Uber’ed to Dataran Merdeka Square, also known as Independence Square to visit the Kuala Lumpur City Gallery. We really enjoyed the KL city gallery, very educational, engaging and fun visit.
After visiting the gallery we walked around the square and took a stroll to Masjid Jamek Mosque. Unfortunately it was closed for renovations, so we only got to appreciate its beauty from the outside. We have more plans to explore other parts of Kuala Lumpur tomorrow. Follow us to Chinatown and best spot to get beautiful souvenirs.

S1E22 – Wohoo we are in Kuala Lumpur!
In this episode, after checking  into Container Hotel, we’re heading out to Kuala Lumpur City Center to have our first look at Petronas Twin Towers & Suria KLCC shopping mall. After walking around for a while we stopped by Madam Kwan’s restaurant to have dinner and continued our journey around this gigantic mall. We obviously couldn’t pass up the opportunity to buy a few little presents 🙂

“The Plunge” is the 150 feet (45 meters) free-fall experience. It will take you for a swing over a beautiful ravine located at Danao Adventure Park in Bohol Island. It was my first free fall and I was totally terrified and excited at the same time! I’m so happy I gathered all my strength and did it as it turned out to be one of the most adventurous and memorable experiences in our travels through the Philippines. If you are a thrill seeker this is the place for you!

S2E4 – In this episode will be exploring some parts of Metro Manila. We will walk around Intramuros city, visit Fort Santiago, shoot our first drone footage of the city, pass by Baywalk on the way to our final destination of the day Pan Pacific Hotel to enjoy the sunset.
Throughout the video we will share our first impression of Intramuros city and a bit of history about it, talk about struggles with Uber and look into Manila’s most popular mean of transportation a Jeepney.
